This week we have slowly managed to get Christmas decorations up.
Greg had been begging to set up the tree, and was thrilled to help decorate.
As you can imagine, most of these ornaments have since been moved up to the top half of the tree. So far Caleb has only managed to break one ornament.
We found this little angel in a box, unpainted. Greg dictated the colors and I did the painting. For those who know Greg, it will be no surprise that he wanted her to have a green dress. The blue hair though? I’m not sure where that came from.

Caleb is a climber. I'm actually a little surprised he hasn't learned how to get out of his bed yet.
We are very happy that a new community playground is being built near the store. These stepping stumps are one of the things that has been completed. Brian helped put a roof on the picnic shelter last weekend.
A quiet evening, just before Greg’s bedtime. Those snowflakes hanging above the kitchen table are the closest we will come to having a white Christmas this year. It has been pretty hot around here lately!
This makes me happy.
