Photo Fridays: Week 21

This has been a busy week for us!

The tree cutting... they are supposed to finish up today, except for the main trunk.  We'll need to hire a chainsaw to take that down.  I came home from the store the other day to see this - Tama balanced with each leg on a different branch.  Yikes!  I'm so glad I wasn't the one up there!

Taking down the last big pieces.  Notice the heavy ropes securing it.  There isn't much room for error, and a piece of wood that big could do some major damage if it fell the wrong way!

Greg loves his blue umbrella and is always happy to get the chance to use it...even after the rain has stopped.

The boys snuggling in mom and dad's bed.

The boys love getting to visit dad at his office!

Greg discovered an ant colony living within our garden wall.  He has spent quite a bit of time intently watching them crawl in and out.

Greg decided to take a picture of his belly button.

He took one of me too!

The prop room at the High School.  It is amazing what has been accumulated over the years, through donations or finds from secondhand stores.  I was able to to do costumes for the whole cast of the play with only a moderate amount of alteration and or "re-purposing" clothing items.

Next week we will have dress rehearsals and performances, so I've been very busy attending rehearsals and doing last-minute costume changes.

It has been very exciting to see the costumes really start to come together!

Unfortunately, the stomach bug that the rest of us had last week finally caught up with Greg.  He spent about three straight days sleeping, but this morning he was well enough to go back to school.

Caleb has been extremely full of energy this week... perhaps to make up for Greg being so lethargic!  He loves to run... future track star??
