Photo Friday [126]

Looking at a photo album.  A few years ago I started doing a yearly photo book, and the kids love going back to look at their younger years.

Speaking of reading, it's Book Festival time at Greg's school - a two-week extravaganza all about reading.  This is our first year participating, and this week I've been spending a lot of time with Greg working on his first ever diorama for the art contest.  He chose to do a scene from one of the Magic Tree House books.  It's not done yet, so you'll have to wait 'till next week for a photo of the final project.

When Brian takes a work trip out of the country, my shopping list is quite long, but when he travels within PNG my shopping list is mostly food items that we can't get at the moment at our store here.  So from Alotau he brought gifts of whole-wheat flour, chick peas, almond flavoring, and airline orange juice cups!

She loves to be a "ghost" and chase her brothers around.  The giggles abound.

In our flower bed yesterday.

I needed to take a "shadows" photo this week for my 2016 photo project, and so I begged Brian to be my model.  I actually just hung a spare set of blinds from the ceiling the middle of our basement for this shot.  If you know Brian, you know he's not a dark and moody sort of guy at all, so I'm thankful he put up with me, though I knew he'd rather be doing something else. :)

That's all for this week.  Thanks for visiting!
