Well, Conference is over for another two years. It was a very good week, but at the same time, we're very glad to be back to a normal routine.
Brian giving an update to the group about what his departments have done in the past two years. Brian was also elected to be a member of the Executive Committee, which oversees the governance of the branch.
We enjoyed some great times of corporate worship. As you can see by the banner in the back of the room, we're also celebrating 60 years of work here in Papua New Guinea!
We were also very blessed to have Rev. Dr. Clive Burnard, a visiting pastor from the UK, who shared devotional messages each morning of conference. It was obvious that he had followed the Holy Spirit's leading in the messages he shared, and we really appreciated what he had to say.
The boys were also able to take part in a VBS program run by a group from JAARS. They had nothing but good things to say about it, (although Greg did say that the Aussies who ran the VBS last time were a bit more fun... sorry Americans!)
The kids check our black raspberry bushes each day to see if there are any ripe ones.
Kate wanted to see how many "pretties" she could fit in her hair at once.
Until next week!
